Had a kidney stone that was too big to break up, so they had to cut me open to get it out. X-ray beforehand showed another stone blocking my other kidney, so they had to get that out first. Must have been under for about 6 hours, but everyone was brilliant

Feeling much better today and definitely on the mend. Yesterday I felt like I had been hit by a bus, today I feel like I have been hit by Mike Tyson, so that’s an improvement

Octopus have now conveniently lost all photos and videos I sent to prove that they had configured my smart meter incorrectly. Fortunately I haven’t

That’s true and I accepted that at first, but when you make the same mistake over and over again, there’s a problem
Octopus assured me that it was fixed and wouldn’t happen again, then it did. Hopeless

Out of interest on back-billing:
They can back bill for one year, but if you were in credit a year ago they can use that credit to clear mistakes further back. If you weren’t in credit, there’s nothing they can do. The ombudsman knows about this and lets them do it

Not had any problems at all since I joined them when they and the Coop service merged together. I think this is the key. When you have problems, they are hopeless, they just stop responding to emails and you are left stranded I joined by choice, not migrated They configured my meter incorrectly so ...

Trying to figure out why I have four final bills from Octopus. Nightmare of a company, don’t seem to have a clue what they are doing. Left them in September and they have now decided that every bill they ever sent was wrong and have re-billed the lot - some of these were re-bills for other mistakes....
