Hi Shane, I've just measured my counter weight with vernier calliper and digital scales. Diameter 13.6mm. Thickness 0.5mm. Weight (complete with 1.5 grub screw fitted) 5.9gms. I'm assuming you have the mounting arm so know the central hole size. The finish is chrome plate and metal is non-magnetic. ...

Philip, you seem to be right. An outrageous price! Maybe they don't want orders for the cube to keep things simple

Yes Philip but what a pity they haven't mounted it more elegantly. It looks like a kid's building brick, or at least of the type we had when I was a kid. Compare the appearance with Will's super T. No contest. Will's is an add on component that looks right on top the main speaker. I feel the WD opti...

Hi Ian, I feel this is difficult to answer because there are so many variables such as floor construction, spiked/unspiked, weight of equipment and any isolation etc. I share Paul's view on glass. I do have a couple of these which I'm not using at the moment. http://www.nightingaleaudio.co.uk/prod01...

Ian,

Don't be so smug :) They only have a couple of singles. All the rest are doubles which they automatically let out as singles if the demand is there.......hope I've got a double......I like to stretch out!

Best wishes,

Greg

Hi Andrew, I know where you live but just a thought. At the moment their is sporadic telephone outage across the south west effecting anyone and everyone on an ad hoc basis. It's a fault with two BT circuit boards which are being replaced at midnight. I have a local authority email account and we've...

Including James and myself I take that as a majority vote so will book our rooms in the morning. There is no reference although you could mention me (Derham) when making your booking as I explained to Mandy that I would discuss on the forum which could lead to bookings. Neal, phone worked for me whe...

I've had a look around. I've taken into account we would want to stay at the same place so small B&B's are out unless you want to make private arrangements. I've also considered the need for good food and beer. Prices are generally between £30 and £40 per night. The cheapest is Metro Inn in Donc...

OK, I'm day off tomorrow. I'll do some research and come back. It is likely that we'll have a little more complicated route to the venue but the location should be better for food, beer and security.........Philip, the Doncaster Travel Lodge is like a wild west frontier post! We brought all our kit ...
