Hi Nick,

I only wanted a second comp for checking email and the web upstairs, (living area)

Main comp has all the apps on it in the basement/office.

Would save me running up and down the stairs so often,
running, there's a laugh...

I hate to admit it, but Vista is pretty slick too.

I just can't see what the "average" punter complains about?

I understand the gurus points though.

I do wish I could get Ubuntu to work to make my own choices though.
