Re: Toroidal Transformer Mounting

I'd try and find an old inner tube. Your local tyre depot might have some in the skip. Not car, but motorcycle or even wheelbarrow.

Not sure if it's facts or conspiracy but possibly worth a listen, it just seems to me a funny world when an edited royal photo can make headlines for days and these events are seemingly covered up rather quickly?
Funny you should say that Steve.

I'm not a metallurgist, but I can't see that sort of aluminium work hardening in the short term.

Bending as Steve described won't need any heat.

Re: General health matters.

Perhaps calling it the 7 day bug was a misnomer ?

I bumped into a lady up the road whilst using the local post box.

She told me she had something similar, but after 5 weeks she was still feeling some minor symptoms and the lack of any energy. Time will tell.

Re: General health matters.

7 day bug. I caught it at Potters last week, first noticed slight symptoms last Thursday evening. Feeling bilious, but not actual sickness, complete lack of appetite, delicate stomach but not diarrhoea, no energy at all. Bad cough, but strangely no mucus or snot. Impaired smell and taste. It's not C...

Re: Nothing In Particular

I see they are messing with the snooker rules in the Riyadh world masters, by adding another ball, gold coloured, worth 20 points. This gold ball only comes into play if a player gets a 147. Once a 147 is not possible the gold ball is removed from the table.

Re: Zero emission road vehicles.

In New Zealand, EVs used to have no road tax. Now EVs will have to pay a charge per Km. With plug in hybrid vehicle, it now seems they have to pay tax on fuel (for the ICE) and also pay per Km (at a reduced rate) as they are also classed as an EV. Go figure. "From 11.59pm, Sunday 31 March 2024:...

Siri's Svale band, Blackbird.

Foobar on office PC, MF B1 integrated amp and home made nearfield monitors. :D
