Re: Nothing In Particular

sometimes you can recover them with a partition tool...I've been lucky and recovered quite a few which seemed lost in a windows environment whereby the disk manager wont recognise them. I have a boot disk with debian and just a partition manager...I haven't found a corrupt memory stick that it wont ...

Re: What Are You Listening To Right This Minute?

Good-ho ! Keen to hear your thoughts. It's a pitcher of red hot juice, isn't it Ed ? mmmm...gonna have to revisit as I haven't listened to it in a while. All those quotes that we banter back and forth are vivid in my memory from early stuff but the later stuff doesn't stick as well. Somrthing to do...

Re: Nothing In Particular

The closest I can see to a misrepresentation is if there is not a obvious connection between time wasting and frustration. I cant see any way that having to read a post you didn't want to, causing frustration without the reading of the post involving spending some time doing it. Maybe I was wrong, ...

Re: Nothing In Particular

Hey, I maybe misunderstood your post, maybe Mike misunderstood your post, maybe not, who can know. This seems to be descending into farce I didn't respond to Mike's post, I commented after Greg's post and it was a general observation..and Mike certainly didn't repspond to my post so how do you know...

Re: Nothing In Particular

wtf! what part of my post related to friendship, I was just highlighting the fact that when a dialogue is expected and there isn't one, I can feel frustrated. It doesn't relate to anybody else, it's just how I feel. It has absolutely nothing to do with wasting my time and I'm at pains to understand ...

Re: Nothing In Particular

And your life is so busy and your time so important that loosing those few seconds is such a problem? Remind me again what your hourly rate is? Must remember to send you an invoice next time you call to ask me if the person you remember is the person you think it is. No I won't send you a invoice. ...

Re: Nothing In Particular

I have to admit...in this case I sympathise with Greg. I also get frustrated with Mike's posts at times. I look down the thread and see a new post on a subject I might be following, only to find the new post is a smiley or a one word response..... please don't respond Mike, I'm not criticising, only...

Re: Zero emission road vehicles.

compressed air, who'd a thought it!! I remember in the 60s we had small model aircraft that had reciprocating engines powered by sparklets bulbs. That was in the 60s but I regularly attend the vintage model aeroplane meets at Old Warden and these motors still exist and are still being built. I've ne...

Re: General Raspberry Pi stuff

more info.... after I reported buffering yesterday I rebooted the pi and didn't encounter any more buffering. I then reported the LMS version in reply to Neal's question so the pi had been running LMS v7.9 for 12 hours with no buffering so all I could do was conclude it was a glitch and the reboot h...
