Re: Phono bake-off

Is it possible to get an invite? I've got a dddac 1794 that I'd like to hear against other dacs, it was well received at my last bake off. Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

Awethumne. http://i.imgur.com/aDbBz4Y.png The climb up out of Clearbrook is a good lung buster but once you get to the top it don't arf feel like you're riding on the top of The England! http://i.imgur.com/MqbcnWM.jpg...

Re: Audiophool from Sheffield.....

I thought the place ex wammers went when they finally got pissed off with Petfood Pete was The Audio Abattoir. But here is far less clique ridden, less bake-offs though. Re: Dacs, kits or bought?

I'd go for a kit, in fact I did, the DDDac 1794. This was for several reasons, I'd heard a few of them in various guises and found them all to be very good, better, to my ears, than all of the oversampling dacs I'd heard. One other major reason is the fact that they can be easily upgraded, the new d...

Audiophool from Sheffield.....

I have been a member on the 'Wam for a long time but have become fed up with the new direction and dearth of threads and discussions.
