I found his schematic for the raw Coleman DC supply and it happens that I have the right parts, so I guess I’ll build a copy, using my 9V 300VA twin secondary toroid as the AC source.

1. Whats the max voltage the regulator can accept without damage? I would worry about that with something that has choke input aspects 2.
