Really pleased with this now. Lovely relaxed, detailed and dynamic presentation. It's certainly worth making the trip to Owston with it.

Revised power supply voltages:

Look fwd to seeing/hearing some of this stuff. Things have certainly changed over the years at Owston. Scary, humming, 1000V breadboards seem to have gone the way of the Dodo.

The opinions seems to be that in a transistor amp, power and signal paths need to be as short as possible, but the amp sounds fantastic as is, so maybe I’m obsessing over nothing.
